I have been involved in photography for over forty years and in this time probably taken hundreds of images,  though most have been thrown away.

It has been a hobby that has ebbed and flowed with interest waining then flourishing over time.

I started with very basic point and shoot style camera which I think I bought from Dixons.

This camera was upgraded in the mid eighties to a Cannon SLR, 650 then I added to this an Olympus OM10.

Eventually in the digital age I succumbed to this new technology and bought myself a Nikon camera.

Changed that to a Cannon Power Shot G2. When that was stolen from a work site, I bought a Fuji S 9500.

I have since then added to  my collection two Nikon D80's and a Qaunteray 80x300mm lens along with the standard 18x50mm lenses.

Now every where I go I usually take one of all three with me.

Until in 2008 a friend asked me what did I do with the images that I took, I said that I didn't do anything with them except put them on to CD's/DVDs', however I was thinking of setting up a web site to display them.

And so with that I started the web site.

What I want the viewer to appreciate is the different approach I have tried to make on these pages with what I hope will prove successful some information regarding where the images was taken and a background/history on the image you have chosen to view.
